I think the rounder faces actually worked out well. They look cuter, and I'd imagine it should be easier to diversify facial expressions now (instead of the standard smile you pointed out in the art summary). It still looks like your style too.

All in all, it's a very cute picture. I especially like how Rainbow is nuzzling and hugging Twi :3
