The funny thing about Jonathan Pie is that he's supposed to be an overly leftist, holier-than-thou character.
But yeah, you think it's bad now? Remember that both those "awful" results were very much 50/50, with Leave barely edging out stay and Clinton winning the popular vote. It wasn't a devastating loss for the Left. Just wait for them to react when Brexit goes into effect and Trump is inaugurated...
