I really like this one.
The background compliments the entire scene and is detailed without drawing attention away from the main character/point of interest.  And the lighting really helps that illusion too.

I find the uniform interesting.  The cut, piping and bow give that sweet, innocent look, but the colouring of the piping matches the blood and gives a whole new meaning.  Such a nice duality.

As a whole it's a great example of Yandere, innocence and violent jealousy all in one.  Yuno Gasai would be proud of you :P

I do have to agree with you in this one, even the shading looks on point as well, but if I had to ask... why the theme in a cementery... I may ask this to the wrong person but I don't know the theme fits perfectly in this picture but why?
If it was made back when Halloween was a thing I would not had said anything but this was made back in January (I think).

Well, you would have to ask the artist to be certain.

But if I were to guess, I would say the artist is taking the yandere trope to it's ultimate conclusion.
'I love you to death' so to speak.  Perhaps to preserve that perfect moment of their love forever, she killed him.  Perhaps she killed him because if she couldn't have him, no-one could.  Or perhaps it is the grave of one of her rivals for or obstructions to senpai's love that she 'got out of the way'.

Yandere often ends in violence and even death, and what better way to represent that than a cemetery or graveyard.
I mean, who knows.  Maybe she filled all the graves here...

Holy! I didn't realize there was a conversation going on here! This is so cool! I prompted discussion!

Raqonteur, thank you so much for your kind comment. It really made me happy to read it. Really, it made my day!

You are absolutely right about what I was going for!
I was really going for the logical conclusion of what usually happens when a Yandere decides to keep their love with them... forever. Til Death to they part!? :D

Isn't that uniform sweet? It's my favorite in the whole game! I'm really drawn to Ayano's cuteness, and how innocent she can be. She's most definitely insane, but she's innocent to how wrong the things she's doing are as long as she can keep Senpai to herself. ...  I think that it would be (relatively) impossible for a relationship between her and Senpai to go 'well'.  I mean how would you feel? :shudders:

And thank you again so much! May Ayano be looking the other way if you ever talk to Senpai!

I think on the rival's side you might have a point, but on Ayano killing Senpai... she will just commit  suicide right on the spot, fully aware that she killed her loved one.

I know as of now it is impossible for Game!Ayano to hurt Senpai (outside of easter egg modes) but this is fanart! Isn't it fascinating to consider an Ayano who goes the traditional Yandere route of doing anything, anything, to keep Senpai close to her forever?

Alternatively she just killed Kokona. Again.

Ayano is insane.
She is.
So what would happen when Senpai doesn't do something that fits into her delusional worldview? Maybe she'd possibly do something to make him fit into her worldview? This is relatively common with real life stalkers when the 'stalkee' objects to their 'kindness'.

Also the cemetery is a theme thing (death, blah blah blah, creepy) and a shout out to a game mechanic where you can bury bodies. She probably would be burying people in a cemetery in game, if the game was much bigger than the school.

Like keeping her Senpai on the basement I suppose. What I mean to say about Yandere killing her Senpai after killing Kokona then kills herself I was of course talking about Yandere Dev's promo when it comes to the confession on the cherry tree and yes I see what you mean... instead of going for the double kill, she will have to force him somehow to love her but instead of relaying on death if he refuses she may brainwash him in some way, but I could say it's highly unlikely but that will be nice to happen (I think).

Also thanks for the positive response I appreciate it and thank you for this wonderful piece, about the cementary it's too bad Yandere Dev will take off the little town from the game and instead change it to a 1 corridor/hallway full of convenient stores just to make fast progress in the game. Oh well... it's either that or waiting 3 more years for the game to come out I suppose.
