Nope! In some of the follow ups they all forgave him pretty quickly, and it seemed to us that it would be a good idea to show that it wasn't quite as easy as that for some. Centauri seemed like a good candidate to call Tanook and make him work a bit harder before he was welcomed back. I think it also makes them take him a little more seriously (or at least be aware more of what he's capable of!)
