From the other side of the dorm room which was lit with small yellow lights hanging from the tree, Skell slowly rose from her sleeping position, scratching her head as her hair stuck out in different directions, making her resemble a porcupine. She rubs her eyes, yawning. "Yeah, I'm still alive.." She mumbles loudly.

There was a silent pauseas she struggled and shuffled under the blankets, then sat on her bed with the green sheets draped over her entire form. She hacked a cough, "I dont think I can make it to classes today" A sniffle. "Do you mind telling the professors the reason behind my absence?"

Skell stands up and swept some of her hair back before yawning softly. She walks over to Jamie's bed and places a hand over her head, "Sure, take care while I'm out later, will ya?" She chuckles softly, patting Jamie gently. "I'll go make some tea."

"Thank you." Her voice went hoarse at the last word. She coughed and repeated her words but it still went silent on the second word, she shrugged it off. She laid back down, groaning and rubbing her face as, it felt hot to touch. She was almost sure that she would scare Skell if she saw how she was right now, considering the burning sensation running through her eyes and nose. The sickness really reminded her of the old times. She'll take her temperature and medicine when Skell leaves.

Tying up her hair in a large, messy bun, Skell climbs down the tree of their room, going down to grab some tea. As she left some water to heat up in the kettle, she sits down on a chair, her elbow propped up on the table while her chin rested on her palm. Her mind drifted off, and her anxiety kicks in. Jamie had been her roommate and friend for..months? And a good one, too. Skell always had a scare when she'd just hear Jamie coughing or sneezing, or even if she'd catch her staying up late, worried she might faint the next day. She groans at one thought haunting her, What if I lose Jamie? She buries her head in her hands, knowing she was about to cry already when the kettle whistled. She stood up and proceeded to pour the water into a thermos.

// YESSS BRING ON THE TEARSSSSS

moments after Skell had transferred the tea into the thermos, loud thumps of footsteps could be heard as Jamie climbed down the stairs, rushing to the toilet and slamming the door shut. Desperate heaving along with sounds of water violently coming in contact with the toilet bowl could be heard. A few coughs followed on. She stepped out of the bathroom, her complexion was paler than usual, with a greenish-blue undertone, her hair covered her face. She groaned tiredly, "I must've ate something bad." she pinched the bridge of her nose, her usual formal composure was gone, her back was slumped, with her head down. She started to walk back up the stairs again. "You should head to school soon, its like, past 8 am."

Adding a teaspoon of dried lavender into a cup poured with hot water in, Skell glances at Jamie from the corner of her eye and sighs silently, worried. "Nah, I'd rather stay here for a while than having to deal with Math." She mumbles, covering the cup with a small plate to let it seep. She walks towards the fridge and grabs one of her bottled energy drinks, all of them containing some of the chemicals she needed. She closes the fridge and pops off the cap of the bottle, inserting a straw in before starting to sip. "You better go back to bed and get some rest," She says through her teeth, still occupied with sipping from her drink. "Your tea will be ready in a few minutes."
