Hehe, wow. Pretty close to what I actually look like. Except one detail: I play hockey -- I'm built like a defenseman.

Ulgh. I really need to find a way to change from Nature's Glory. It's really quite dumb.
How do you go about setting up this kind of picture? Like how did you manage to get a screen shot of just that section of the convo. and how did you overlap with Us? I think I get the blurring and the red box and stuff...

There's why I ask for referencing pictures when I draw real people.

I took the screenshot and resized it down from 1280x1024, , then cut out the relevant text from the original size to make the zoom contents, used the shapes pen tools for the box's lines, and blurred the rest of the background with at least three different focus effects--only one of those affecting the chat box. Then I just made a new layer and drew on top of the whole thing. That part is simple.

Drawing takes longer than the other stuff, but it's something I already know how to do, so it's simpler. I use Corel Painter IX and Photoshop, for the record...
