Gosh, thank you so much for taking the time to explain that. As I'm English there was not much chance I would ever know that, our hawks are much different. Ty again 🙂
Here in the US, we confuse the word Buzzard with Vulture, thinking of them as synonyms. We often just lump the birds that are actually Buzzards in with the Hawks. We are a confused country!
I'm in South Africa now, five years and STILL learning that Buzzards are not the bad guys they are made out to be in the movies
It can be very confusing to have to relearn something that you thought you knew!
