Honestly? Same. I want to show more emphasis to the line work, but the background colouring screws everything over.
And digital!!! They do it so cleanly and I try so hard to generate the same effect buuut NOPE -_- ;

LIKE I think my lining is very weak, compared to how much depth and weight my sketches have. I'm going to try scanning and editing my sketches and printing them rather than trying to do lines I think.
It frustrates me, but I have to remind myself that I've being working with copics for 4 years now. Digital I don't have that much experience so it's to be accepted.

I don't think your lines are that bad. Sure, you might need to work on some edges, but that's about it 
I don't have the equipment to learn tp draw digital, so I am really inexperienced
