I was going for "stern" but I'll take contemplative Rob! 
WHEW! I didn't think the eyes looked angry enough for stern, but they did look as if they were far away in deep thought.

You can be a diplomat But I agree with you. The neat thing about artist is that people do see different things in an image. (There was a very funny scene showing just that in the movie Skyfall.)
