you know for the japanese korokke i bet if you used wasabi mashed potatoes it would be even better! [link] i'm going to try that next week while my parents are away so i'll be able to try making korokke out of them! i'll make some without it and some with to see which one is better. maybe i can make up my own korokke and put it on dA. i'll have to try it out though. have you ever made risotto croquets? they are amazing they taste like hash-browns but better! i make risotto just to make the croquets! i've never made mochi. i have a bag of mochi with three fillings, they are all good, but each tiny mochi is 300 callories! i never eat them because i never feel i've been good enough !-!

XD Oh that looks good! I'll have to go out and buy another tube of wasabi. I used all my wasabi to make tuna wasabi onigiri for people at work. lol; unfortunately if you don't use enough wasabi in those things the 'hot' taste fades out. So you have to use ALOT for it to be noticable. speacking of wasabi... ever tried wasabi almonds????? they are AWESOME!? but you have to be careful how much you eat... not just because they are 'hot' but they are very high in sodium. whenever i get a can of those i make sure to make it last over a week.

You have to have the right consistancies and the right cook time and you have to wait for to cool down but not ALL the wya cool down which is annoying because if you touch it too soon you burn your hands and it gets stuck between your finger and there isn't any sure fire way to prevent that. = = for me tis a big hassle to make it so i just buy it. no i've never tried those. i've had wasabi peas though. i don't think i've ever seen those around here though. and wasabi tuna onigiri sounds great! i love to make beef soboro and grill it so it's yaki soboro onigiri! it's really good!

LOL its "blue diamond" brand wasabi almonds which is a US brand. Its in a round cylinder container with a green label on it. it should be fairly easy to find. and yes, wasabi onigiri is awesome! you should have a go at it! LOL i'll try out the risotto croquiet. Tomorrow i plan on cooking stuff and preparing it for 4th of july anywya. I'm going to be making dango too (the one from that youtube cooking with a dog recipe) XD; and yea, making mochi is very much a hassle. just buy it instead of making it.
hmm, i've never heard of blue diamond, but i'll keep a look out for it next time i go to the store! i've never had wasabi onigiri, but then again i don't find fresh sushi grade tuna hardly anymore.... maybe i'll try it with some crab! oh wow! i don't think we have anything planned for the 4th of july. i'm more excited for next week though >w< i'll look for the dango recipe!
hrm well its a brand i have in my store here. I'm not sure if its a brand sold everywhere but i hope you find it cuz its quite tasty! AGH i've been tryiing to ask the help desk how to change my ~Bento-Club and #BentoClub into ONE account and they gave me a link on how to just make your account into a group.... now this would be helpful IF I ALREADY DIDN"T HAVE THE GROUP! DX if i want to merge my club into a group it means i have to make a new group! = =; how irritating. i'm thinking of just closing the account entirely and make a new one but i'd lose all the members watching it. I don't know what to do cuz that group merge thing closes on the 4th. not a whole lotta time here.
it sounds like you won't be able to do it. they don't understand what you want, or maybe there isn't anything you can do about it. you can always send a journal out saying you're closing this club and opening up a new one. that way the watchers will know to switch over. i can also ask the people from bento union to come join too!
Yea, i've commented back but that convert thing ends tomorrow and i don't want to make a whole NEW group using that account. i find it difficult to manage two different accounts since i'm always on this one. I think i'm just going to close the old one and create a new bento-club using my original account. XD; it'll probably irritate the heck outta some folks tho but i really just can't manage it when its separate accounts... and then separate club/groups. just too much hassle and i'm all about easy things. i feel a bit better making this decision after hearing your oppinion though. = = when i read the help desk reply i wasn't thrilled with the answer i got. i even told them i already had the group open and nothing transfered over. D< bah
