thanks a lot, this one is really one of my dearest shots, not just coz it looks pretty, but also it has lots of good memories, and it was such a spontaneous capture both for me and her .. and hehehe i would be glad to shot you too in that same spot

The spontaneous shots are often the best ones.

well that photo is in Alexandria, Egypt... and this is the Mediterranean sea not a river

I like them very much as well. Nevertheless I think conceptual photography is also very fascinating.

i agree with you, conceptual photography is also amazing (depending on the photographer of course )... its my second preferred style after spontaneous portraits.
well.... the Mediterranean has this charm like no other sea (at least for me), sea in general is my favorite part of nature, sitting by it is my ultimate passion... just sitting, hearing the sound of the waves, feeling the wind, smelling that fresh breeze and watching the horizon, and thinking about life....it can inspire me with countless ideas and thought about everything .... uhhh sorry for all this, i just get drifted away whenever the sea is mentioned. and btw, all the water scape photos in my gallery are from the Mediterranean except for the "sea shell girl" group

Conceptual photography shows somehow the meaning photography can have. Some people don't consider photography as an art, because everybody is able to take a photo. But in Conceptuals all the Settings, the motive and everything else is wisely chosen. It's really hard to be good at this.

I don't think I have anything to add to what you wrote. Waves, water, wind, wideness, ...it's so awsome. Even a picture of the sea makes me dream about the beach, the wind and the smell...

i agree with you as for conceptual photography (and i pretty much like your work btw), but i guess all other kinds of photography are art, it really depend on the photo and the photographer, yes everybody can press that little camera button and take a photo, but the eye of a photographer or of an artist in general, makes all the difference, it can capture beauty and see something that others don't or perhaps they see it but don't notice.... i guess u know what i mean.
hehe u know what, i am working right now on sea picture, and as you said, it makes me dream and drift with the waves, isn't it just an amazing feeling to feel this wind and hear the sea roaring?!! is there a sea near where you live?
