Really?!?!? Err the purpose of the level ajustments is to reduce the overall amount of stars, not to make them all vibrant if that is what you are thinking. Do you not agree that starfeilds with over clustered stars are worse then the ones with a smaller portion? Taking a look at your own gallery, your images reflect that. Using the levels are simply a method of reducing the amount of total stars using stocks or the noise method. So I am puzzeled as to why you do not aprove.

Then again, I guess in the 2 pictures displayed, it was better before the level ajustments but that is in a case without any coloring or depth added let alone a composition. I guess i'm try to make a case against the over clusterd star feilds and showing a mehod how to reduce.....I should have clarified abit more. Thanks for the critic.

Yeah, it is a good method if you want the stars not too attract too much attention. However, I think the first picture looks much more realistic and has some nice forms in it that got last when applying levels.
