Comment on Avatar - Zuko and Ursa by ~Neptune47

Very awsome picture!!! But what could be wrong with it, and this is could just be me and my over tired brain, but the angle of Zuko's arm and hand look off to me. I myself am not very good at forshortening, so I wouldn't know what to do to fix it, but thought I'd point it out in case that's what's bugging you. ^^

can't see anything wrong, looks really sweet, to me. Maybe the hair could be more high contrast, but I spose that wouldn't be Avatar style?

AWSM! I have an idea what might look wrong:
1. The nose (Zuko's) looks a bit off...
2. The fact he hasn't got a scar? Cos the first time (and all throughout the show) he has a scar and we're just so used to the scar?

I don't see any glaring errors that ruin the piece, but there is one minor one that may be what is bothering you. It took me a while to notice it, but Zuko's arm is a little off. It doesn't look like his forearm would properly connect to his elbow if you removed the fabric that hides that joint.

Adjusting the roundness of the back end of the armband (so that it's not so narrow) might correct that.

All in all, though, this is beautifully done. Excellent work.

I'm with the arm comment, now that I see what the others are talking about... Also his forearm looks a little small. I know he's supposed to be young (even though I've never seen this series!) but the proportion looks a little off- forearm/fingers/hand.

The only thing I can find with it Zuko's shoulder, and how it seems like the exact same shape as his mother's. Nothing really wrong with that, just looks kinda strange.

Anyway, I'm just nit-picking here. It's still totally awesome!! +fav
