to me, ranting is ok....but if it's overdone and that's how you always respond.....it makes you look way too juvenile.

I'm not talking about 'you' personally, but the hypothetical 'you'

Nah, I like to rant every now and again... Most of the time it's funny rants. Like ranting about why, when I drop my toast, does it ALWAYS land butter-side down! Sometimes I rant about work and such.

But to me, ranting things out is highly therapeutic. It helps release pent up emotions, thoughts and feelings. Ranting, to my mind, is a good thing. I guess it can be overdone, and I try hard not to overdo it... But what I don't like, is when people tell me that my life isn't as bad as theirs so why should I rant. That, is juvenile in my opinion....

....very true....but to me, the ranting you're talkin' about is just being pissed to me

I suppose it is... *grins* But sometimes, just sometimes, what you rant about is something that someone (or many someone's) feel strongly about too... Which will inevitably start long discussions and fun for all!!
