hey man, I intend on buying that very same guitar, but since the shop is like 350 km's away I can't go there just to ask if the pickguard is removable, so I was wondering if you could tell me if it could be removed easily with no complications...all the very best man.

I'll have a go on it tonight ;) I know it's just held together with a bunch of screws, so if you like holes in your guitar I guess you could take it off, otherwise keep on it or paint it black :P

I'm just worried whether or not the pickups will remain intact after I remove the pickguard, if not...I guess I will paint it in black or something, thanks m8. let me know what happens

Yeah I noticed I might have a problem with the pickups... and I did. I almost screwed up my guitar because I was close to taking out the screw that held the pickups in :P Luckily I noticed before I finished. Sorry, doesn't look like you can unless you want to go through rejigging the pickups.
