The Sea

You stand on shore
Looking outwards
Wondering what worlds there are to explore
Within the waters depths.

Curiously you ponder whats out there
Beyond the baby tide pools
"Come explore me,"It dares,
Trying to make you feel a fool.

You respect the washing tides
You know of the treasures untold
The caverns where you could swim and hide
Researching the abundant of life that'd bring gold.

Yet that matters not
You want to be one with the sea
One in spirit, mind, soul, and thought
As you daydream what a life it could be.
