Good colors & positioning. Plus the leaves help break up the linear/ fixed quality of the picture simply because of their shape. They have such a dynamic shape and because "fall" or the seasons have so much emotional connotations behind them, it gives the picture much more life than a simple street. Plus the age of the car helps a lot too.
