is the pixelation of the trees in the foreground from scanning or from the camera?
I only noticed it when I was experimenting with some effects and a pixelation pattern kept showing up in the same place.

Must be from the digital camera (it wasn't scanned). I didn't do any editing except extremely minor color correction and of course cropping, so I'm not sure what's causing that.

If it is a cannon or Kodak camera, then it is just an expected pattern.
Dark green and blues are the most prominent.
Still, I like it.

I'm using a Cannon G5 PowerShot. It's several years old (which, of course, makes it antique ha ha) Didn't even know about that (the pattern in the blues and greens) thanks for letting me know!
