Hmm. Doubtful. I mean, they already tried that and it didn't turn out very well. It did next to nothing to expand individual freedoms. If anything, it did the exact opposite and increased surveillance...

It seems strange to me that someone who identifies as a Christian would be so enamored with Soviet culture and iconography considering the Soviets were atheist and systematically repressed and oppressed those of the Christian faith... but maybe I'm missing something.
