Comment on Megatron pwns Bay's Megatron by khaamar

Well... that was interesting, I understand you never asked me for my input but let me tell you something right now. I posted that comment because I was truthfully disgusted by the fact that members of a fandom that I am a part of will shit-talk one another because of their personal tastes. I will admit that my comment wasn't necessarily kind, but the point still stands that YOUR argument was completely childish and I'm sorry that you didn't ask me for my input but let me tell you my friend, this is a comments section, not a fucking private conversation. If you wanted one of those you could've easily sent a note to the person that you were arguing with and had the argument there.

I'm not going to mind my own business and move along when I see two people acting like little children, I said that at least in my opinion, both Megatrons were good in their own right and that the fact that you tossed INSULTS at another person all because he had an opinion that was different then yours made the both of you look like pricks. I was admittedly ready for backlash when I posted my original comment but I expected a more calm and informed reply since I've had many of those beforehand, I did not get that. What I got was someone essentially telling me "Shut the fuck up, you're not a part of this year old argument.", and I find that quite sad. Like I said, my comment was admittedly rather blunt and dickish but the message is still clear that I was disgusted by your argument and how you continue to enforce the idea that most Transformers fans are whiny little bitches that squabble over something as trivial as which of the two versions of a character can kick ass more.

This leads me to my number one complaint about a lot of Transformers fans. Once they find a version of the franchise that they like, they will continue to aggressively defend said iteration like it is their damn child like the example both you and Gojirafan gave me. You could've easily given an actual reason for why you believed that Bayverse Megatron would win in a fight with G1 Megatron, you know, that idea that you should back up your opinions with facts but did you do that? No, you resorted to these lovely comments that I have copied and pasted for your pleasure:

"Maybe if you're Megatron did not look like a pile of Boxes."

"Yeah, he would." (This comment in particular is something that I would expect from an argument on the playground, NOT a conversation between two grown men.)

Granted the first comment that I showed you was in reply to GojiraFan's comment about Movie Megatron being made from the contents of a dumpster but I did acknowledge that the BOTH of you were at fault in my original comment didn't I? Of course I did and here is the copy and pasted version of my original comment to prove it:

"Seriously, the both of you are got into a fucking argument last year over this?! Guys, both Megatrons are good in their own right (at least in my honest opinion.) and there is no need to toss insults at one another's favorite series. It just makes the both of you look like jackasses that can't handle the fact that there are different series of Transformers."

I said the BOTH of you, I understood that you weren't the only problem and I acknowledged that when I wrote the original comment. Then again, you're the exact same person that posted this little gem:

You flashed what was essentially just YOUR opinion and treated it like it was a fact, like your words were supposedly the only true words when it came to Transformers and that everything that disagreed with this statement is nothing but a festering pile of pigshit. Shall I teach you the exact difference between opinion and fact, here you go:

That one comment you posted was an opinion, your comment about Movie Megatron being able to beat G1 Megatron was an opinion. However, you're parading it around like it is a fact and GojiraFan is obviously not excluded from this since he too was expressing an opinion that was being paraded around as somewhat of a fact as far as I can tell with him and if that is truthfully not the case and if he replies in a respectful manner about it not being this then I will happily retract my statements but until he does, I will not and I still am unsure about him and you know what, I would've retracted my statements as well if you did what I just mentioned about being respectful and explaining in detail about why you have the particular opinion that you do. You did not however, rather you responded with a comment that gave me the idea that you didn't exactly read the comment, instead you decided to be somewhat of a dick and pull the old "mind your own business" excuse. Yes, how dare I reply to a year old comment that was used in a year old argument that clearly isn't being continued, how dare I say that Transformers fans should just admit there is something to like from all franchises instead of being a fanboy for the Transformers movies, how dare I decide to have the guts to call this argument out for being bullshit instead of picking a side and sticking with it. I bet if I posted a comment that agreed with you, you would be singing a completely different tune with a response that praised me instead of the response that I got.

Let me teach you about a little concept KINGRIEVOUS, it's a small little thing called "respecting one's opinion". This concept states that even if someone has a completely different then yours, you should just be respectful and move along. I would've respected your opinion.... if you didn't decide to be a complete utter jackass by passing your opinion as a fact. If you and GojiraFan instead looked at how childish your argument was and learned to accept that people like different things, then I wouldn't have replied to the original comment but no, instead of looking at your childish comments, you essentially told me that I had no right to give my two cents on a long dead argument all because it wasn't my business. Well, maybe if you didn't have your argument in a PUBLIC comments section, then maybe it could've stayed that way and if you were respectful then I wouldn't have felt the need to call out anyone.

My comment may have been somewhat rude but yours was just plain detestable and made it look like that you can't take it when someone calls out your bullshit attitude. I'm done good night, feel free to reply but only after reading this in its entirety.
