If it follows the tradition, the bandage on her neck is hiding a bite, and she's likely infected. The child though, is healthy and fine and very young, still wearing a hospital bracelet, and is very important, judging from the pure clear lighting falling on the baby. The woman is not dressed for that snowstorm though, so this must have been a desperate/impulsive act, despite the earpiece in her ear, that implies she has at least one partner, or had when it started. I'm really interested in her silver bracelet though, I can't make out what might be on it.
