Exactly. Yes, it's a wig--I'd like to buy her a shorter one, this one is very very long and kind of gets in the way a bit. You can also style it, but if you don't stick it to her head with some double-sided tape, it can be a slippery devil.

Oh, alright! The more I learn about this, the better I understand the quality of the doll. The price is beginning to make better sense. I wonder if there's an advantage of acrylic over glass eyes...:?

I think glass eyes might be movable, but I'm really not sure. They look more realistic, I think, and they catch light better, so if that's a factor... These dolls certainly are customizable from the feet up, though. I would recommend a smaller one, though, say a 41cm doll.

What? you mean like different hand gestures...heck I should just go back to the site and see...I've thought about it and I'm undecided which direction I want to take...

[link] It's very important to know which acronym means what size. SD is the size Riley is, SD13 is about two inches taller, so on. The smaller dollfies are called Mini Super Dollfies (MSD), but Volks is only selling those in assembly kits right now. LUTS's kid Delfs are about the same size, though, I think.

Well, I have to admit...cost would be a determining factor at this point...but I really like the Dolfies.

Yes indeed... :D I still can't believe I let myself get one. I think I've wanted to for five years.

Well, I'll admit, she definitely appears worth it, from this end... *looks over at the stuffed Garfield with his "I don't do Perky" sweater, and sighs*
