Storm Hawks is such a great show, but it's kind of looked over. That's pretty sad.

Ooo, crouchies. That's such a cool pose, and I love the coloring. Alas I'm not familiar with this show, but I get the feeling I should be.

Anyhoo to answer your question, it was with a billion layers and adjusting that took like twice as long as the drawing/colouring itself. I only just barely spritzed any colour on, the rest is big flat fill layers of colour. The paper texture was from Mayang's, desaturated and set to about 50% overlay... I just wanted it to be really authentic and unique looking.

Seriously, great job. Yes, I agree. I think Stork is slowly coming out of his shell. You should've seen him in "Dude, Where's My Condor?" He REALLY lost it in that one! Just ask Finn! I wonder if they'll give him a solo adventure, like what Aerrow had in "Escape!"

I dig the subtle tones and shading on this. Might be good for a reference pallet later. MmMMmmmmm
storm hawks figures are out. they only got tiny one's of stork so far but he'll be out soon in the bigger ones. i'm watching the toy stores.
