You are certainly not the only one who enjoys such things! I'm mad for subject matter like this. There are several factories in my city that I actually consider to be quite beautiful; especially at night when they are dotted with orange lights. People think I'm crazy. But how could anyone resist these amazing structures of twisted, interlocking metal, always in the most lovely shapes and designs?
My husband dabbles in photography, and his subjects of choice are usually animals, nudity, and decrepid urban places that are longing for attention, even if it's only in the form of photography. Some of his stuff's on deviantart.
I didn't have time to upload others this morning so it kinda looks like I'm featuring this solitary basement photo. Which is OK, but I was thinking about adding the others.
I dunno, if its silly to stick stock stuff in my account but I like mixing it up and trying new things.
I've got an even grungier random photo!
I need to find an excuse to take photos in the bolted, ookie area. The ghosties like to park it there sometimes, so I pardon myself when I enter but I don't really mind ghosts (though they don't seem to be a fan of me).

Mreow! We haven't spoken or discussed anything in a while! I like this picture, very plain yet so unique. ^^ Ghosts...I like the idea of ghosts...-smirks- Anyways, the photo is well taken, I like the lighting and everything. <3
It's a pleasure to meet a fellow like-minded individual. We must deal with that "crazy" label even though we probably seldom dole it out to the beach-going normal sorts.
At night with strange lights you say? *groans in pleasure* Yes, that must be nice.
I appreciate the link to your husbands work, I will check it out and invite that sort of exchange.
It's true. I remind myself that I am lucky in many respects, location and imagination being two.

Thank you! I'm glad our last discussion didn't put you off. I have a terrible habit of analyzing things in very broad spectrums and you took the brunt of that.
I really wouldn't believe in ghosts except that I've always been able to sense them so I have no choice; otherwise I would have said it was hooey. My personal preference would be for all souls to dissipate and find rest, not remain "stuck" here.

Some people have been asking me about this stuff so I decided to gather all information in one single article on how to make your own portfolio, in a profesional and clean looking way. I hope it's useful, because these steps I myself take.
How to make DA work for YOU! Taking an in-depth look at how to make deviantART work for you, and getting the most out of your user experience. How to get comments, watches, your work scene, commented on, critiqued, and what you have to do. These are some of the things which I have learned since joining more than 4 1/2 years ago.

`karemelancholia is one of the most genuine deviants you could ever met. Always active and a true deviantART cheerleader and supporter in every aspect. You can always count on her to lend a hand or get involved, and you usually will find her doing large amounts of both at any given moment. She's consistently reports on contests around dA, showcases the efforts of her fellow artists and shows her charitable side through various activities. Besides all of this, she's a truly talented artist which is why she's an obvious choice for deviousness this month. Read More

It's pretty.
I like wandering around in the Fort Wayne Hotel's basement, myself.
I need to bring a camera with me sometime. It's super cool there.

I didn't trick out the light either, that's simply a bare light bulb that hangs down there.
Yeah, do it.

You are lucky to have a building like this at your disposal! Oh, the treasures it must hold in every shot!

I liked this photo. It's got a certain "air" about it that makes it very likable. Thank you for taking it. :3

I'm sorry, but I just can't see Bill Nye the Science Guy having sex. I think he reproduces by budding.
