Yup. And I'm only allowed to keep the recycle bin as an shortcut because I can't get rid of it. Otherwise I wouldn't be allowed - apparently it wastes RAM. Or something else that affects the running speed.
That's the folder symbol. I have a folder for it.
Yes, inverted colours (I actually did the tree and the background with the inverted colour and then used a transparent gradient). How did you guess?
Yeah, your picture was actually playing around with the features of Paint.NET so everything was made pretty much in the same way since i liked the effect.
Transparent gradient makes one part of the picture opque and one part transparent, explaining how the orange and the blue can blend in. They don't have burning and blurring and all those custom brushes in Paint.NET but they're working on features/similar features to that in the fourth version. But anyway.
I can. I have the ability and the computer will let me if I made shortcuts. However, I VOLUNTARILY choose not to, because it wastes memory and slows the system down, and with all the fancy stuff they added in Vista, it's already slower than it should be.
Some people have been asking me about this stuff so I decided to gather all information in one single article on how to make your own portfolio, in a profesional and clean looking way. I hope it's useful, because these steps I myself take.

Whee, inverted colours.
I see Eternal Happiness, and the question I was trying to ask was "What's that symbol that goes with Eternal Happiness [on the taskbar]?"
Anyhow.
Vista may look pretty, but through your experience...it crashes a lot, eh?

Guess? Well...in the picture you sent me, the trees were identical and the colours were opposite. Same applied in this one.
Lol, so you can't have any other shortcuts on the desktop? Sucks...
