Wacom and deviantART are proud to present the winners for Wacom's "Bring Your Vision to Life: Dreams" contest.
I definitely prefer the background design to the foreground one... it reminds me of music and violins, that soft and curvy wood grain with sharp streaks and sudden shapes. The other design just looks too flat and I don't see the two working well together in this piece. It's not as fluid as your other work and I like the difference and the contrast, but it feels a bit too blocky and awkward.
