eXteel... it's based off the Unreal Tournament engine.. but it has been developed in the server side to allow persistent character development and various upgrades. It's a first person shooter... which is fun after having spent so much time in Rappels... and is REALLY good at getting the adrenaline going!

There's some things you can pay for online.. mostly weapon upgrades and a couple of actual Mecha themselves... but nothing you buy online is so far advanced over what you can get during the game. An example: The Cash Shop weapons do more damage than the in game ones.. but the overheat more quickly... so there is balance.

Wait, eXteel is out? when did it come out? I wanted to play when I first saw the trailer months ago it but totally forgot about it!

Mistress... that guide pretty much convinced me to play. I've since hooked just about.. no wait... EVERYONE I know who can run a computer to play! lol! My one friend was in a motorcycle accident some time ago and Rappels is one of the few things that kept him going when he couldn't get up and about. Ever see an HW named Nekoashi.. go say hi. He's R4 now and closing on R5 quickly... Mythical Heroes guild I believe. His alts include a female cleric and at least one other HW... Huna.. and I think he's building up a new assassin as well. I'm mostly a DM... though I have a Huna and female assassin I play too.

Yup, EXteel is out and damn fun to play! If you liked Unreal Tournament than you'll LOVE this one! Just remember to put aside some of the cash you make fighting to buy 'Reapir points'.. or you'll have to switch back to your initial gear within the week!!! Your starter gear never need 'repairs'.. but your upgrades and new weapons DO. I should have figured that out... but I'm used to things where you HAVE to repair after every battle... here you can do 20-30 without repairing! It threw me off.... lol!

Anyway.. I'm Goblineye on Salamander server if we ever meet online there. I tend to just show up to help people out and hunt prick PKers ( it took ma a LONG time to 'get' the fact that not all people with red names need to die... strange, but true! So if you go PK ever... look out for a weak little female assassin... that jumps out only to have a Chaos Mage jump IN around the corner! ) And thanks again.. MANY times over for that guide. I have said it before.. and I say it again.. that's one of the FEW resources available that makes any sense!
