I was wondering if the Tactics remake kept those side stories, pretty sure they cut out the one where Cloud Strife joins your party. (They never actually had that finished anyway... Damn rushed scheduals.) Nice to see some new Agrias fanart out in the world. The woman doesn't get enough love.
Not sure if it was Mustadio or not because I never got it, but if you entered a bar in any city or town on the right date, it would trigger the "Agrias' Birthday" event which essentially... Is this scene. With Agrias all "how'd you know it was my birthday?" It might be Ramza who gives it to her in that version, though.
Anyway, having Mustadio do it instead if Ramza is indeed the normal culprit is also nice... Since it helps build upon the hinting of the relationship Mustadio and Agrias might have been forming that was there in the original game.
As for not understanding the earlier statements... The original version of Tactics for the PlayStation was rushed because of deadlines, and as a result there were a LOT of optional side stories that never got finished. One of which involved Cloud Strife being brought to you through time, and since a rendition of One Winged Angel can be ripped from the CD... It's possible that they had been planning to have him face some sort of memory or whatever of Sephiroth before being sent back to his own era. In the PSP remake, I'm pretty sure they cut out Cloud completely and instead add a character or few from FF12.
