Ah, so it was merely politics. (It's always politics.) I suppose it's fitting, then, that two of the books at her feet are supposed to be history books. (The fact that the Kingdom wasn't quite willing to put up with Helios and her ways says a lot about them, at least to me. Ooh, the intrigues!)

It's not quite as cut-and-dry as I've put it... *grins*X3 It helps that I'm working on a side-story which will be an insight into the Sun Kingdom and why Helia was chosen over her sister.
I should have known. 
Side-stories are always helpful, though. I'd be interested in reading it. (I have this strange interest in past lives, sometimes even more so than the current story...I don't quite know why.
