Im making a test head now.Sculpted it last night while watching dvd's and will try fur ahead of time to
learn what not to do so, I dont fudge up the final sculpt. The only fur Ive done is faun legs and it took a lot of time. You realy have to go slow or it will look gluey and matted!

I think animals will be fun.. the mythilogical animals too. Id love to make a realistic dragon pet.

I wanted to try to flock for half human, half animal ones mostly....there's a lot you can do with clay as far as getting a fur-like or feather-like texture, like Forest has done. But I like the added texture of actual fur. Yeah, jus' take your time & be patient.....I'm excited for you! hee heeee

It would be interesting to flock a half human/animal. Im not sure how the actaul flocking is done. I saw someone reborned a baby doll with a peach fuzz look. It was surprisingly real looking.
I want to experiment with real feathers for wings. Ive made wings of petals ,but is not quite the right scale. I think I could use some softening contrast with my work more cloth, hair etc.
