Besides, whilst I could have made the hair shorter it would have looked a little unnatural - also you can't forget that guys with long hair do exist - in fact, most of my male friends have long hair and realistically if I was a guy I would keep the long hair too. Even if I would have had my hair short before, Pirates of the Caribbean would have inspired me to grow my hair. I honestly think this is what I would look like if I was a man.
Also, usually I have my hair in a slightly shorter, more styles fashion would definitely looks feminine. Soon I guess I will be having my hair cut to that again, which is why I decided to seize this opportunity and take a picture of myself with this more natural looking styles, slightly unruly... because guys with long hair tend to just let it hang rather than trying to do anything with it.
*Sigh*. No. Actually, I made my eyebrows a bit thicker, squared my jaw off, made my lips a little thinner and lighter, accentuated some of the folds around my eyes, put more shading on the neck to suggest and Adam's apple and slimmed my cheeks down a little bit. All of these are subtle but noticeable traits that are the genuine differences between men and women, which, to be fair, aren't that profound. The point was to make it ME but also a man - recognizably both. If you made too much of these features it would result in exaggeration and it simply wouldn't look realistic - in fact, it would look fake. What would you have done differently?
Oh shit. Well if you put it that way... I would've just cut the hair off a little, but yeah, that would probably look at little fake. I do see all that you were saying now.

I know they can't be identical but they CAN look a hell of a lot like each other. After all, non-twin sisters might look a lot like each other despite the age difference so twins, either male or female or mixed, even if they are dizygotic twins could resemble each other a great deal. It's not that unlikely.
Scarily convincing. Haha mini perfectionist says the skin tone seems a bit odd where the beard meets the rest of the face but apart from that its fab. Also... how did you get a photo of my dad when he was young. Seriously though, it looks like him. O.O

Inspiration is like a bus, nothing comes for ages and then all of a sudden there are three at once!
Heehee, yeah, I know it's not perfect but at a glance it doesn't make that much of a difference. Viewed like this you can see how I did it but I think that if I just gave you the man photo and said it was a guy you wouldn't notice anything about it - it's convincing enough for you to take it at face value.
Hehe. ^_^ That must be pretty cool. Apparently my male self looks like a lot of people including Johnny Depp, a friend of a friend and also (more understandably) like my dad when he was young. Heehee.
XDD That's a pretty good CG. I got a hair cut recently, so I don't look as much like a girl as I used to. I miss having long hair T3T

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
