hairdyes in salons are usually worse than the ones you buy in stores, because salons aren't allowed to use certain products in their hairdyes, because they're illegal, and they can cause cancer, blablabla (which isn't true, btw) and the ones you buy in stores are allowed to use those products in their dyes, and those products are usually so it lasts longer, etc.. so that's why you should never get your hair dyed in a salon, unless it's bleach, in which case it's better.. oh and black is also usually better.

I think a light orange would suit you very well. Like stripes of orange. Especially if it's curly. The curlyness will make it blend in better, and it'll look awesome with the colour combination, if you look at your skintone, and the colours of your hair.
