Please please correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't it be "Le roi est mort" ? Seeing as 'roi' is 'king', a masculine word, and 'morte' is the feminine version of the word 'mort'.
Unless, of course, the words at the top aren't french, and are some other language bearing an uncanny resemblance...

They're from Enigma songs. The line at the top is from the opening track of Enigma's third album called "Le Roi Est Mort, Vive Le Roi!". "Velut Luna" (Latin for "Like the moon") and the script at the bottom are from one of Enigma's more famous songs "Gravity of Love". Look it up, its good new-agey stuff. :3
