I like the idea sometimes, of giving Christ extra long hair...As for barbers of his era, I suppose they were out there-though it may be been more for the rich folk-keeping hair much shorter. I am sure someone out there trimmed beards and head hair with knives from time to time...Would be interesting to look up!
