Beautiful painting, Gracie! (Hadn't realised you did traditional media as well). I love how "in-the-moment" this feels, like a moving scene frozen in time, and the green just gives the picture vibrance and life.

I only picked up digi art 4 years ago, trad's been in my veins for 11 years. (Mostly figure work) There'll be more oil paintings this year; I've got 6 canvases to fill this summer, and I'm doing a few landscapes from life I think! Weee, I can't wait to go out in the woods with my paints and easel and paint en plein air.
Anyhow thanks - this was tricky to do without the layers I'm so used to now, but I think considering this is the first serious landscape in oils I've done, I did okay with the background I'll pin that on my speedpaints. It was overall pretty darn fun to paint actually, I wouldn't have painted this on my own but I still enjoyed it
