I get war is peace and freedom is slavery, but I don't get ignorance is strength. I think it doesn't need anything. Cool as it is I guess

"ignorance is strength" means if you ignore all your problems then they don't affect you and you're stronger, which of course is false, but it is used to describe the general population of the united states. the quote is from a famous book called "1984". thanks for checking it out
