The game is VERY frightening. If you want to try something similar in style, if you happen to have a copy of "Half-Life", download "Afraid of Monsters: Directors Cut" (just do a search on google), it's very scary.
There's lots of mindtricks and such used in the game. Players will see "peripheral vision illusions" such as people in cells staring at you out of the darkness, yet when you turn to face them, they disappear. etc
Yep, this game is a lot like The Suffering. I always found "The Suffering" to be frightening because of the visual and audiatory hallucinations (those ink patterns get VERY frightening).

I know... one of them looked like conjoined twins... I like that game... "The Suffering" is also an interesting title.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
The Cutting Edge is a weekly article that features brand new selected high quality art products that caught our eyes. Check out the cutting edge prints some of your fellow artists have submitted in the past week!
