I hoped there is an easier way... looks pretty good on the photo, though. I wouldn't venture to ruin my only Barbie for extensive painting experiments. It would be neat if there was some kind of bleach to take the colour away....
No, I suggest buy in charities or old things markets old dolls to try! 
Unfortunately there are no cheap old dolls in my country
