Excellent job as usual Carol!!

Might I dare to make a suggestion though. You can take it or leave it, afterall, I am still learning. I think if you increase your values, especially increasing the darks, and have a greater range of values, it will make your pictures POP more and look more 3-d. It took me about three years of advice and nagging from other very talented professionals before I had the guts to really use my darks. Now I really see the difference, although sometimes still fall short in that area.

If you know how to put a picture of your drawing into a graphic program such as Paint Shop Pro or photoshop, and then grayscale it (or make it black & white), you'll see what I mean. It really reveals the range of values in a picture.

Either way, your work is still beautiful!!! :D

An Angel's face is tricky to wear, constantly (Tori Amos Purple People)
Thanks Nancy! My scanner doesn't work very well, so colors and values aren't what they appear in the image. Each piece I do, kind of depends on what I am looking for, as far as values go. With this particular piece I wanted a softer touch. I think it's my style though. I don't go for the real darks like other cp artists. I do once in a while :) Thanks for the input though!

Thank you! I was hoping to achieve that, even though working very small.
