I cannot wait until you start on the enemies for Super Mario 2.
You must admit...there is something creepy about their masks...I always thought that shyguys should have been portrayed in a more sinister light than they have been in the past...I think an enemy partially based on a shyguy for a silent hill game would be right at home. Imagine seeing a monster with a shyguy mask and a cloak, except the mask is chipped and dented as well as splattered with blood and the cloak being ragged and tattered. The shyguy monster would leave a slime trail behind it whenever it moved, and if the cloak was removed, it would be some sort of grotesque molluscoid or mishapen and pathetic creature.
