It's odd how various words enter the English language, Erskine and Urchin are Saxon and Norman French words for hedgehogs (a form that Pyskies/Pixies can traditinaly assume), 'urchin' went on to be used to describe scruffy, spiky haired young boys, hence one of it's more modern uses.
