The first thing that this picture reminds me: Indiana Jones- probably because of the brown color scheme and leather jacket. Sort of off-focus, but the thing that I like very much is actually the background. It would have been so easy just to use a soft-edge brush to create the gradient, but using rougher/more manual method (as it is here) gives a sense of layers in the background and adds lots of depth.
