Literature adds to reality, it does not simply describe it. It enriches the necessary competencies that daily life requires and provides; and in the respect, it irrigates the deserts that our lives have already become.

*le sigh* to have a love/romance like this....

Dark Angel is the fearless leader,
Ready to lead and defend.
The pain from her past does not dictate her future.
Thought it threatens to overwhelm her,
She always overcomes it to survive another day.

You've painted a wonderful picture for me to fall asleep to tonight!
I was wondering...one suggestion?
the line:
And set it upon her shoulders and took something out of his tote.
Would the rhythm work with
And set it upon her shoulders and took something from his tote.
Perhaps?
And bravo on the line:
"For you, my fair lady. A bracelet for you- acquired honorably."
I thought that bit very important and knowing, to bring that to your reader.

And yes...:iconwaterearthgoddess: and :icongypsyblaze: - it is a shame that we men have been schooled throughout our lives to show our bravado, and not our tenderness... There are some though, that can balance that...
Then again, we can be just :slow: too....
=P

And with that, goodnight sweet maidens.....

It is the function of art to renew our perception. What we are familiar with we cease to see. The writer shakes up the familiar scene, and, as if by magic, we see a new meaning in it.

I like it. I'll fix the line when I have some time on my hands. Thanks!

I was hoping I was not intruding on your process. You did paint an awesome view in my imagination...
