No, he definately wasn't frightened - more annoyed that I was taking his photo while he was trying to check out the tastly looking chickens in the nearby coop.


Stock photos are photos that the owner has given permission for others to use in their art/manips. Of course proper credit needs to be given to the photographers.

Generally if you use someones stock photo as a reference you should note it in the "Info" area of your submision.

So you can't get in trouble if you use it as a reference, but you /should/ note that you used a reference, or if it's a person on deviantart and/or you know who's it is, you note that person's name/alias, right? *confusing*
