I meant it in a good way; the intricacy and texture is concentrated within the boundaries of the character or subject of the piece, then in some areas it trails into sketchiness and then empty space, which contrasts nicely with the great amount of detail.
That probably makes little sense, but anyhow..I like it. It's something I'm trying out in one of my pieces; mostly because I have very little time to complete it and so I can't fill the entire piece of paper with a ton of intricate detail. And I shouldn't be eating up what little time I have left to finish it on DA.
