Unlike the others, vile creatures they be, I didn't want the focus on the violence. I want to make people think, who was this elephant? Did he have a family? Did he have dreams and goals? How many peanuts could he eat in one sitting? Art isn't about the shock value, or the money, or getting tail. It's not even about the poorly drawn, over inflated children's cartoon characters. It's about heart.
I will laugh and laugh and laugh if the first thing Mike Media notices is that you've depicted him as drinking booze as opposed to everything else.
