This, to me, after I've read the description, feels more like the result of being torn, rather than the claws/talons themselves. Am I very far off the mark?
That and I see a winged dolphin on the way bottom... very, extremely unrelated and I do apologise.

The damage will show up in other pieces, right now i'm doing feels and the vehicle of delivery. In this case, the Claw represents that vehicle. Imagine a claw reaching from the impenetrable darkness. The fingers are out, facing to the NE corner of the piece. In some senses, no you're not far off, definitely in the close region.
As for the dolphin, ummm... lol I *think* I can see that? But see that's what I really like about how I convey my works, is they're like clouds..sometimes you can really see what was meant to be seen as a certain way, or you can see your own things... it leaves it very open to interpretation.
I saw the claw itself, initially. But then I saw something else (as I already mentioned in my initial comment) afterwards... it's interesting to watch your creation somehow morph right before my eyes!
And you are most certainly welcome Thank you for sharing your work!
