... Whoa... if you scroll up and down a little, the background seems to 'squirm'. That's the closest I can come to describe it. Interesting character design by the way. When I saw the thumb, I thought it might be the Cloverfield monster. Silly me.
lol thanks. as for the clover field monster.. i can see what you mean. the colours similar. BUT comeone that monster did nothing but walk around a city and give birth...
Oooh right. i dont have the dvd i just saw the film. That sounds good though. Ultimately, I dont think the monster was the main point of the film, I figured it was a giant metaphor for something else but hey what wud i know
Hehe. In the commentaries, the producer and director pretty much outright say: "This was a monster movie. America needs a monster movie, so we made one." So I doubt the monster was a metaphor. It was a monster. It was pretty cool though.
Well.. what does the director know XD. As far as im concerned.. the monsters role was minimal. Godzila.. now that was a monster movie... set in america.. it counts. What i mean is, you see these charachters at a party, they have troubles then this monster comes to destroy their world. its arguable that the monster was just an imagining of their "world" and life being destroyed by those two people shagging.
Yeah i haven't seen it in a while so thats all i can remember

but still, for a monster film there wasn't that much "monster" in it.
