Thanks! It gets a lot of comments anyway; it does leave an opening for conversation. 
I am not fluent - I can read it (with my eyes, I've never touched braille besides this) very. slowly. but I don't get much practice because there's not much call for it... I just wanted a braille necklace!

Okay, I feel like I need to defend that -This necklace wasn't fashion; in fact, it gets plenty of weird looks ("are you blind?"). It was really personal for me. I'm not really sure why, because I could have had the word scripted on it for free, but I wanted to be able to touch it... I used to be conversational in sign language, too, but again, there's not much call for it, and I've forgotten. Perhaps someday I'll learn them again.
But yeah, some of my fashions are pretty far out.
