I like the design of the wetsuit and the flippers. They almost look like they have a canine paw design to them.

The pose is ideal for the scene...and if you don't mind me saying, I am in LOVE with the water. I think you did incredibly well, especially with the wave feel to it. <3
The fur texture is great too. Looks nice and soft.
Also, don't be too hard on yourself about the boat. Sure, it would have been a good idea to use a reference, but gee, I think you did damn good without one.
